Caught mostly roach and less often podleschiki. And most recently, little sazanchikas were desperately pecking. Someone caught and released, and someone aggressively “pulled” them in dozens and put them in a bag. It turned out that last fall these sazanchikas were released into the Malaya Kokshagu River. But, either there was little information, or simply many elderly fishermen, who were not in tune with the computer, naturally did not go to the local forum and did not know about this act of releasing juveniles into the river. In Malaya Kokshag, above the city, too, in the pools, the variegated “white fish” began to peck: roaches, podleschiki, chubs, roaches, busters, rather large ruffs, and at night come across burbot. But after the April snowfall, everything returned to normal. It was freezing in the morning and no better during the day. An icy wind is blowing, and in the evening signs of an upcoming frosty night with a northerly wind again appeared. If this situation lasts, then fishing for burbot may remain relevant for another week. But then the rise of the crucian is clearly delayed. The main thing is to warm the May holidays. We are going to fishing overnight, wait for the rise of a crucian. I would not want to miss this time this year with this fascinating fishing of a hard-knit Volga carp. Last year, he walked in some pathetic portions. And only free-fishermen, having the opportunity to come to the river every day, caught something, although there were no such catches as in the good old days.
This season, he cooked a magnificent ear from fresh live burbot and ruffs with the addition of small “white fish”, which was boiled first of all to the state of rot, and then thrown away. The double ears of roach, podleschik, gustera and burbot with ruffs were unmatched. Especially, as always, the large and white lipped liver was tender, melting in the mouth.
At the birthday of the mother-in-law she treated us to a salad with the addition of cod liver. It turned out to be very tasty this salad called “Mimosa”. It will be necessary to adopt. And if the burbot will still be taken in connection with the cold, then instead of cod liver, you can safely use the burbot liver for this salad only by making canned it in oil at first.
