Fishing in late autumn
Fishing in the late autumn is a new opportunity! What you can try to catch perch, pike, burbot.
The yard is deep autumn, and on our little river that flows 20 kilometers from the city and carries its waters through woodland, fewer and fewer fishermen. This is understandable:
First of all, it’s not so easy to drive to the cherished places, the roads are washed away, and not every modern fisherman is ready to make such sacrifices like walking an extra 2-3 kilometers.
Secondly, the weather factor. If in the summer to get to the river was a joy, even if you did not catch anything, then in the fall, when the temperature at night drops to 0 degrees and lower, and in the afternoon wind and sometimes rain, not all of us are ready to get out of our comfort zone. Although, I occasionally meet spinningists, some of whom have already been familiar for years, for whom fishing, as for me, has already passed from the path of prey, but turned into something that brings moral rest and physical pleasant fatigue.
I advise you to read: How to find out what the weather will be like? – The article has several ways to determine what the next day (or during the day) weather will be.
Fishing in late autumn
Fishing in the late autumn is a new opportunity!
So, in the late autumn, new opportunities open up for the fisherman: aquatic vegetation disappears, sinking to the bottom, burbims go out of their sleepy state, there is an active zhor of some predators. So, for me, fishing in the late autumn is one of my favorite events when you can hunt for a large pike, which most often begins to suffice from the depths. In addition, in the fall, especially if light frosts are noted at night and in the morning, the burbot begins to peck. Bottom fishing for burbot is not just an interesting occupation. But also some mysterious, especially when you sit with a partner all night long by the fire, telling tales and listening to the cold autumn night. And the worse the weather, the better for burbot. In my practice, I try to check the Donkey bones at least 3 times per night, sometimes it turns out to make four exits, that is, every 2-3 hours. As practice shows, this tactic is the most justified, it allows you to catch very well with the fish. Of course, it also happens that it rains at night and it’s impossible to get out of the tent until the morning. In this case, the catch will be significantly less, but this has its zest. On the lateral nod in late autumn
But it is especially interesting for me to catch a side nod in October-November. Of the main trophies most often come across ocher, shuriate, in rare cases, burbot sits. I set the mormysk to move moderately, the frequency of oscillations is not frequent and not rare, I stick to the smooth lifting of the mormyshka with a slight wiggle, using the usual dung-worm as bait. There is a lot of grass in the summer, and in some areas it is even difficult to feed the mormysk, especially if there is a current on the spot. But in the fall and spring there is no such problem.
Perch in the late autumn
In the mormyshka in the fall, I fish at depths from 30-40 centimeters to the pits, where the depth can reach up to 3-4 meters. Of course, for each of these places you need to pick up a certain mormyshka, which depends on both the depth (as mentioned above) and the force of the current. I nod a white color, or paint its tip in the specified color. Against the backdrop of dark autumn water, the nod of this color is well visible.
And most importantly, nodding in the telescopic rod in the fall I associate with calm, moderation, slowness. I move along the picturesque coast, gathering holes, slides, a line of withering aquatic plants, under the overhanging bushes. This is a quiet and calm fishing, and even after walking a couple of kilometers along the bank, you can rest so that a positive charge will last for a very long time. Well, I will not stop saying that it is very difficult to remain without a fish, fishing on the side nod.
