Opposite the village of Starozhilsk, which adjoined to the river forty kilometers from Yoshkar-Ola, the forest stream Shapinka flows into the Great Kokshag. Wonderful, I must say, the river. If, on the road from the city, before reaching a few kilometers to the bridge over the Big Kokshagu, go deeper into the forest on the right side of the road, then after some time you can reach this very Shapinka. What danger can a harmless lodging for the night in a tent, dugout or near a fire mean?
It would seem, what danger can conceal in itself a harmless overnight stay in a tent?
Just spend the night overnight. But it happens that such a night becomes the last for some unfortunate anglers. This happened in the winter season before last on the Volga, when they found dead fishermen in a burnt tent, who at first apparently were poisoned with carbon monoxide, and then burned in a tent that broke out from a gas stove, which probably fell with a fallen man. Amateur fishermen are already fined on new taxes for catching “substandard” fish, and has this already affected network owners?
I do not know how it will be on the Volga this year, but in March last year, near Korotney, for example, the river, far and wide, was blocked by fishing nets. And the devil will make out where they are legally fishing and where they are not. And during my stay there, I have never seen the valiant fish protection ministers check these network owners. Never had such a picture seen. Maybe I looked bad? Did not see?
